Scott Rodesiler leaves Quincy Schools to be near family in Edwardsburg
QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Long time Quincy Community Schools teacher and basketball coach Scott Rodesiler is leaving the district in order to be closer to members of his family. The Quincy School Board on Monday night formally accepted Rodesiler’s resignation as sixth grade English teacher effective August 9, 2024. He is also giving up his Quincy High School varsity boys basketball coaching position.

Bicyclist struck and killed in Portage Tuesday afternoon
PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 20-year-old Portage man was killed after his bicycle was struck by an SUV Tuesday afternoon. The Portage Department of Public Safety says the bicyclist was crossing the street in the 1300 block of West Centre Street just before 3:00 p.m. when he was struck by the vehicle driven by a 76-year-old Portage woman. She was not injured.
