The National Weather Service has confirmed a pair of tornadoes touched down in northwestern Kentucky during Tuesday’s storms. Both twisters were EF-1s and both touched down in Union County. The tornado in Grove Center reached peak winds of 105 miles per hour and was on the ground for six minutes. The tornado in Uniontown was on the ground for 12 minutes and reached peak winds of 100 miles per hour.
