UCSO Reports – June 11, 2024
A deputy and units from the Northwestern Joint Fire District, Marysville Fire Department, Northern Union County Joint Fire and EMS District, Perry Township Fire Department, Bokes Creek Township Fire Department, Southeast Hardin-Northwest Union County Joint Fire District and the Ridgeway Fire Department responded to a residence in the 23000 block of State Route 47 for a possible house fire. The Northwestern Joint Fire District handled the investigation.

Magnetic Springs man indicted on multiple domestic violence-related charges
A Magnetic Springs man could be facing more than a decade in prison, accused of attacking a local woman. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Eric Benjamin Light, 43, of 128 Main St., Apartment B, in Magnetic Springs, charging him with one count each of strangulation, felonious assault, domestic violence and aggravated menacing.
