Park Jefferson, Interstate Speedway tracks clean up after Big Sioux River flooding
JEFFERSON, S.D. -- Two auto racing tracks in rural Union County are working to restart next month after getting hit by extensive flooding. After the Big Sioux River hit record heights, the floodwaters swamped the nearby Park Jefferson Speedway and Interstate Speedway. Both tracks are located just north of Sioux City and south of Jefferson, S.D., along Interstate 29.

Gov. Noem visits McCook Lake with FEMA
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Governor Noem was in McCook Lake on Thursday afternoon to tour the area along with FEMA and the Union County Emergency Manager. Officials said the land around McCook Lake is becoming more unstable and Noem anticipates the state will be granted a Federal Disaster Declaration.
