16-year-old boy ID'd as body found at Rainbow Beach on South Side, officials say
A teen's body was found Wednesday morning near the shoreline on the city's South Side, Chicago police said.The video in the player above is from a previous report.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. Click here to watchThe male body was found at Rainbow beach near the 3100-block of 77th Street on around 6:56 a.m.The body was later identified as 16-year-old Yoni Danilo Montes Santos, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.The discovery came as Chicago police and fire officials have been searching for a 16-year-old boy who went missing on Sunday at Rainbow Beach.It's not yet clear if Santos is the missing swimmer searchers have been looking for.
