Affordable Housing Lottery in Bed-Stuy, Brownsville, Senior Units in Flatbush Now Open
There are several affordable housing lotteries that opened up recently, including one in a historic Bedford Stuyvesant building and a seniors-only housing complex in Flatbush. The Hartby, at 788 Willoughby Avenue, has 62 affordable units, including studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments. Rent starts at $2,495 and go up to $3,939. Those who are selected will get one month of free rent, as well as $1,000 that could go towards moving costs or to pay for the security deposit.
