RAHWAY, NJ — The Rahway Police Department is alerting the public to a number of road closures on Monday, July 22, due to roadwork. Mayor’s Office And CUNY Invest $6.5M In Restorative Justice For 16 NYC Organizations
Today, the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (MOCJ) and the Institute for State & Local Governance at the City University of New York (CUNY ISLG) announcement. They announced that a landmark investment of $16.5 million dollars in restorative justice (RJ), with $6.5 million going to community-based programming over the next 12 months. The initial funding will support restorative justice work at 16 organizations throughout New York City and reflects Mayor Adams’ commitment to the development of innovative community-based conflict resolution that promotes public safety and makes our neighborhoods safer and more livable.

Developed by Park Tower Group and Rockefeller Group, the company’s first project in Brooklyn, The Dupont will offer 381 apartments, a vast majority of which will have incredible East River and Manhattan skyline views. New Yorkers earning 80 and 130 percent of the area median income can apply for the units, priced from $1,782/month for studios to $4,001/month for two-bedrooms.

A road rage incident in South Hero, Vermont, led to a 75-year-old man being cited for assaulting a 20-year-old, according to reports from authorities.
