Latah County Historical Society Ice Cream Social on Sunday
The Latah County Historical Society will host its 47th annual Ice Cream Social on Sunday, July 28th from 1 to 4 p.m. at the McConnell Mansion in Moscow. The event will feature activities for kids, horse and wagon rides, live music, and free ice cream sundaes.
Annual Moscow Alehouse Brewfest on Saturday
The Eighth Annual Moscow Alehouse Brewfest is this Saturday, July 27th from 12 to 6 p.m. There will be beers, ciders, food, and a raffle with a grand prize of a New Belgium Brewing Bike. Alehouse Mug Club members will receive free food and a raffle ticket. Tickets are $30 and include four 5 oz drinks and a raffle ticket. Extra drink and raffle tickets will be available for purchase.

In a two-week operation, the Moses Lake Police Street Crimes Unit, in coordination with the Grant County Sheriff's Office Crime Reduction Team and Jail, targeted illegal activities in Civic Park, including areas around the Library and the Econo Lodge. Spokane Police respond to two drive-by shootings Tuesday night
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department said they responded to two shootings that happened within 30 minutes of each other Tuesday night. According to SPD, officers responded to several reports of gunshots near Lincoln Street and Cleveland Avenue, with callers reporting to police that shots were fired from a black vehicle that fled. SPD could not find any victims.
