Pennsylvania governor’s office apologizes for ‘mistaken’ WWE WrestleMania statement
Despite some confusion that was created this weekend, WWE WrestleMania won’t be returning to Philadelphia in 2026. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro created that confusion when, in a social media Q&A video, he listed WrestleMania among the events Philadelphia would be hosting in 2026 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of the United States. The video has since been deleted, and a spokesperson for the governor issued a statement clarifying that WrestleMania 42 will not be held in Pennsylvania.

350 new students at SCCC orientation
Sussex County Community College (SCCC) welcomed a record number of new students at its annual New Student Orientation on Wednesday, Aug. 28. SCCC’s president, Jon Connolly, greeted more than 350 students from every school district in the county as well as nearby counties and other states.
