Unityville, Pa. — A Unityville man is being charged for allegedly following another man with a pipe and using it to damage his truck.

Lehman Brown, 49, became enraged on July 9 when he arrived home to find the accuser inside his home visiting with Brown's wife, according to Trp. Christopher Moore. Brown argued with his wife and told the man to get off his property, Moore wrote in the affidavit.

Brown held a pipe as he followed the man to his truck parked in the 800 block of Cherry Street, according to the complaint. Brown allegedly threatened to kill the man and his daughter.

Brown broke a window out of a golf cart parked near the victim, Moore said. This caused scrapes on the accuser’s truck, Moore added. Brown also allegedly began striking the truck with a metal rod. Brown broke the back window of the vehicle and damaged a side mirror, according to Moore.

The damage is estimated to cost $1,500, Moore said.

Brown is being charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, harassment, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct. He is free on $25,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing with Judge Kirsten Gardner is scheduled for the beginning of August.
