Field Hockey Falls 2-1 to Miami (OH)
OXFORD, Ohio- The Bucknell Bison field hockey team (0-1) fell 2-1 to the Miami (OH) Redhawks (1-0). The Orange & Blue tried to rally but could not score more than one goal. The first great scoring opportunity came six minutes into the game when the Bison were rewarded a penalty stroke. Lily Neilson received the opportunity, but the Miami goalkeeper read her shot and blocked it. Neilson is 0-3 in penalty strokes since 2023. Miami launched more pressure on the Bison, and goalkeeper Sarah Althouse made several excellent saves.
