Tue, Nov 29: Opioid (Fentanyl) Overdose Prevention and Response Training
Naloxone is a life-saving medication used to reverse an opioid overdose, including heroin, fentanyl, and prescription opioid medications. Naloxone can be quickly given through nasal spray (Narcan) or through an auto-injector into the outer thigh. Naloxone is safe and easy to use, works almost immediately, and is not addictive. Naloxone has very few negative effects, and has no effect if opioids are not in a person’s system.
CPUS: Planning Department releases Recording and Land Use Scenarios From November 2022 Zoom Meeting
The University Community Plan Update Subcommittee (CPUS) is a subcommittee of the University Community Planning Group (UCPG), which is the City’s recognized citizens’ group for the University Community. The Pure Water San Diego Program will use proven water purification technology to clean recycled water to produce safe, high-quality drinking water. Nov 8 General Election: Vote Centers Open Saturday through Election Day with Same-Day Voter Registration Available; Ballot Drop Boxes at Public Libraries
SD County News Center: Voters can take advantage of early voting at an additional 179 Vote Centers starting Saturday, Nov. 5. That will make a total of 218 centers open for the four days leading up to and including Election Day. Voters can cast their ballot at any one of the Vote Centers in the county. The hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Monday, Nov. 7. All locations will be open again on Election Day, Nov. 8, when voting hours change to 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can find a Vote Center location near you at sdvote.com.
