Sunshine Returns Just in Time for the Weekend, with Summer Heat and Humidity Expected Next Week
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Thursday. We’ve seen a dreary day across the county today with mostly cloudy skies and multiple rounds of showers working through the region. Things are quieting down this evening, with the last of the showers and downpours pushing through northern portions of the county. Showers are expected to taper off over the next few hours, with clearing skies expected between now and tomorrow morning. A few lingering clouds are possible to start tomorrow, but skies continue to clear out, leaving us with a nice end to the work week, and even nicer weekend on the way as high pressure settles in over the region.
