PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good Wednesday morning everyone! Patchy areas of dense fog have certainly reduced visibility county wide this morning and that has prompted the National Weather Service to place the entire county underneath a dense fog advisory from now until 9 AM. Even though some spots have seen improvements compared to early this morning, areas in southern Aroostook are still at a mile of visibility if not lower than that. One of the reasons why we have those patchy areas of fog is due to the fact that temperatures are matching dew points along with the presence of moisture in the atmosphere and some calmer winds.
