UMaine Women’s Basketball Team Announces Non-Conference Schedule
The University of Maine Women's Basketball Team announced their non-conference schedule for games November 4th - December 29th. The Black Bears will begin the season at home on November 4th against La Salle University on Monday November 4th and then follow that with a game against the University of Pennsylvania on Sunday, November 10th.
Seventy golfers take part in Mars Hill Golf Tournament
MARS HILL, Maine — The 22nd Mars Hill Golf Tournament was held on August 10–11 with about 70 players enjoying the beautiful summer weather. Many of the players were from the area and from other golf clubs in Maine. However, we did have some players from far away such as West Virginia. They said that it took them 13 hours to drive to Mars Hill. The player had never been to Maine and was asked what he liked about the area. He said everything and he is going to bring his wife back to see the beauty of the area.
