UPPER MARLBORO, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Loved ones and friends said their final goodbye to Minnesota Vikings rookie Khyree Jackson and former Wise High School Football player Isaiah Hazel Friday morning. They were two of the three men killed in a car crash in Prince George’s County on July 6 .

Jackson, Hazel and 24-year-old Anthony Lytton Jr. played football together during their time at Wise High School. Each of them continued their love for playing football, but that came to a tragic end on July 6.

The three were driving in a Dodge Charger on Route 4 and Presidential Parkway in Upper Marlboro when they were hit by the driver of an Infiniti attempting to change lanes while driving at a high speed. Police later identified 23-year-old Cori Clingman as the driver of the Infiniti.

Family said they all knew each other.

Many told DC News Now that Jackson, Hazel, and Lytton Jr. each had a bright future ahead of them. Jackson had been expected to compete at cornerback for the Vikings after the rookie graduated from the University of Oregon.

Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell spoke about Jackson’s short, but impactful time with the team during Friday’s services, saying, “Kyrhee was a special teammate. He cared about being a good teammate, being part of the locker room and committing to working hard for something bigger than himself.”

Hazel worked on his master’s degree after graduating from the University of Maryland. Lytton was all set to play at Bowie State this fall after stops at Florida State University and Penn State University.

“He wanted to share his love for football and his passion for learning by starting a non-profit organization for student-athletes,” said his former teacher, Nathalie Rosales.

Lytton Jr. Was laid to rest on Tuesday.

Hazel and Jackson will be interred at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
