Mass. health care workers paid after I-Team investigation say checks bounced
NORTHBRIDGE - No one at Blackstone Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Northbridge wanted to talk about the employees that have not been paid in more than a month. Health care workers at all four of Blupoint Healthcare's long term care facilities tell the I-Team their paychecks started bouncing a month ago. Oxford Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Drug Distribution
BOSTON – A local man was sentenced in federal court in Boston on Thursday, after pleading guilty to drug charges. According to federal prosecutors, Chaasad Cyprien, 24, of Oxford, received a sentence of two years in prison and three years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine and to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine, in April.
