BOSTON – A local man was sentenced in federal court in Boston on Thursday, after pleading guilty to drug charges. According to federal prosecutors, Chaasad Cyprien, 24, of Oxford, received a sentence of two years in prison and three years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine and to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine, in April.
