Fans won’t be seeing the alleged Kim Porter memoir on Amazon anymore.

According to the Associated Press, the online retailer confirmed on Tuesday, Oct. 1, that the book titled KIM’S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side has been removed from the site.

“We were made aware of a dispute regarding this title and have notified the publisher,” an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement. “The book is not currently available for sale in our store.”

The memoir, which claims to tell the story of an abusive relationship between Porter and her longtime partner Sean “Diddy” Combs has been called false by Porter’s children — Quincy Brown, Christian Combs, Jessie and D’Lila Combs.

“We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, as well as about our mom’s tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out,” the family members said in a statement on Instagram last week.

“Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves,” the statement continued. “Additionally, please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend. Nor do they have her best interests at heart.”

An attorney for Porter’s former partner, R&B artist Al B. Sure, additionally sent a cease-and-desist letter to Amazon and the book’s publisher, Page Six reported on Sept. 27.

The singer said he was “defamed by false and malicious statements” in the book and demanded Amazon halt sales.

The memoir was published independently on Sept. 6 by Los Angeles record producer Chris Todd under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood. The book became a bestseller right after Combs’ arrest on Sept. 16. Diddy has pleaded not guilty to federal trafficking charges.

Todd claimed that the memoir had been saved on a hard drive by the late actress and model and was sent to him to be published on her behalf.

He told the Associated Press in September that sources “very close to Kim and Sean Combs” provided him with a “flash drive, documents, and tapes” from Porter that he eventually pieced together to create the memoir.

Kim Porter died from pneumonia in November 2018 at age 47.
