Mick Jagger Is a Grandpa Again, Daughter Georgia May Welcomes 1st Baby With Cambryan Sedlick

Mick Jagger is officially a grandfather again as his daughter, Georgia May Jagger , has welcomed her first baby.

“Our Son Dean Lee Jagger Sedlick was born September 30th,” Georgia May, 32, announced via Instagram on Thursday, October 10. “We are so in Love and happy and can’t stop staring at him.”

Georgia May’s announcement included a collage of Polaroids of her and boyfriend Cambryan Sedlick holding their son. One of the snaps also featured Georgia May’s mom, Jerry Hall , as the mother-daughter duo posed with the newborn. Georgia May also gave Sedlick, 24, a sweet shout-out for being the best partner.

“Thanks @cambryans for being so incredible through everything and taking such good care of us. 💗,” she gushed.

In June, Georgia May revealed that she and Sedlick were expecting their first child.

“Patiently waiting for our new best friend @cambryans,” she captioned a slideshow of photos showing off her baby bump.

Mick is the father of eight children with five different women. In addition to Georgia May, Mick, 81, and Hall, 68, share daughter Elizabeth, 40, and sons James, 39, and Gabriel, 27. While Mick and Hall never married, they were long-term partners from 1977 to 1999. The Rolling Stones frontman is also father to daughter Karis, 53, whom he welcomed with ex Marsha Hunt , daughter Jade, 53, whom he shares with ex-wife Bianca Jagger , son Lucas, 25, whom he welcomed with ex Luciana Gimenez and son Deveraux, 7, whom he shares with current partner Melanie Hamrick .

“The more children you have, the more laissez-faire you get about them, to be honest,” the rock star said in an October 2023 interview with The Guardian . “And it depends on the child. They have their own personalities and you can mold them to a certain extent, but you see their likes and dislikes and encourage them to do things they gravitate towards. It’s fun to have children, at any age. But if you’re working, and always away, you don’t get to enjoy it as much.”

Georgia May isn’t the first of Mick’s children to make him a grandpa. Karis welcomed two children, daughter Mazie and son Zachary, with husband Jonathan Watson . Meanwhile, her sibling Jade is mother to daughters Assisi and Amba whom she shares with ex Piers Jackson , and son Ray with husband Adrian Fillary .

Mick is also a great grandfather as Jade is the grandmother to Assisi’s three children: Ezra, Romy and River.

“I imagine it’s nice to be a great-granddad, although I’m not sure he likes the idea of getting old, or being called one,” Assisi said in a 2013 interview with Hello! magazine. “I call him Mick — I wouldn’t start calling him Grandpa.”
