Summer House ’s Kyle Cooke playfully blamed Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen for his recent drama with Craig Conover .

Andy [ Cohen ] caught me off guard,” Cooke, 42, exclusively told Us at Us Weekly + Pluto TV Reality Stars of the Year Party at the Dream Hotel on Thursday, October 10. “Ultimately, I cherish friendship above everything else and I think that's why I was hurt. But [Craig and I are] good. We're good.”

During a May appearance on Watch What Happens Live , Cohen, 56, asked Cooke — who founded the alcohol company, Loverboy, in 2018  —  if he was upset that Conover, 35, invested in a different drink business called Spritz Society.

“Look, I wish him the best, but the way he handled it, and we don’t have time to get into it, really rubbed me the wrong way, and I’m just trying to take the high road,” Cooke said. “He has a reputation of lying and he lied to me.”

In September, however, Conover also confirmed to Us that any drama between him and Cooke had been resolved.

“Unfortunately for you, we did film it,” he exclusively told Us when teasing the upcoming season of Summer House . “That has to carry the tag of you have to wait and watch that. I love Kyle and we have a really fun history and relationship and he’s one of my favorite people on the network. I’m glad I was able to go out there and you’ll get to see how that all went.”

Cooke was able to put any spritz drama to the side when he served as the DJ for the Us Weekly + Pluto TV Reality Stars of the Year Party this week.

After officially wrapping season 9 of Summer House , the Bravo star is looking forward to expanding both Loverboy and his DJ career.

“I feel very fortunate to be in this world, to have this platform,” he shared with Us . “It's been a journey. I'm trying to make the most of it, but I also just wanna stay true to myself.”

As for what fans can expect in the upcoming season, Cooke said some viewers may be surprised by how exes Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke interact during the summer.

“I'm really proud of how they handled it because it could have been really weird and it could have sucked the air outta the room,” he shared. “But they were very mature about it. Obviously it's been a dominant part of the show for a couple of years now. It was good to just kinda let it breathe.”

All episodes of Summer House are streaming now on Peacock. Bravo has yet to announce a premiere date for season 9.
