Nick Cannon spoke openly about his attendance at various parties hosted by the now disgraced Sean “Diddy” Combs on the radio program “The Breakfast Club” on Friday, October 11 — admitting he was a “kid” around “16, 17” the first time he went to one in New York City.

"I live my truth," the father of 12 told hosts DJ Envy , Charlamagne tha God and Loren LoRosa . "I remember standing outside, you know, trying to get into a Puff party out here in New York. Like, everybody was out. Like how the ‘One More Chance’ video looked, that was real, real stuff out here. Like people standing at the door [to see] who can get in and stuff like that. Bad Boy Parties was official in New York in the late '90s."

As the room went silent, Cannon, 44, reaffirmed that he has “nothing to hide.”

"Everybody gets scared to talk because they probably got something to hide. I ain't got nothing to hide,” the TV host and rapper, who stated he doesn’t drink or do drugs, said. “I was in there Harlem shaking, doing all of that stuff, but it wasn't — come on, whatever."

The hosts seemingly got a bit nervous before LoRosa also confirmed that although she’s attended a few of Diddy’s parties over the years, she never saw “the crazy stuff.”

“People [take] pause and all of that,” Cannon said, presumably of other celebrities who’ve stayed silent on their Diddy party past. “What you hiding? Why you always thinking like that?”

Diddy was arrested in Manhattan on September 16 after a grand jury indicted him on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. In legal documents, Diddy, 54, is accused of abusing, threatening and coercing women for years “to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct,” with allegations dating back to 2009.

He’s currently in prison awaiting a May 2025 trial after pleading not guilty. Prosecutors noted earlier this week that they believe their case will take three weeks to argue, while Diddy’s lawyers said they’d need about a week to make their case.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” his attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us Weekly in a statement at the time of his arrest. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community.”

The statement continued: “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

In a 14-page indictment, Diddy was accused of orchestrating “Freak Offs” — which were “elaborate and produced sex performances” often taking place in hotel rooms. During the Freak Offs, Diddy allegedly “masturbated during, and often electronically recorded” them.

When Diddy’s Miami and Beverly Hills homes were raided in March , evidence of the parties were allegedly uncovered. Per the indictment, law enforcement “seized various ‘Freak Off’ supplies, including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.”

Unlike Cannon, most celebrities who have been spotted at Diddy’s events have not spoken publicly about their experiences — although stars including Ashton Kutcher , Khloe Kardashian and Usher have mentioned the parties in past interviews.
