Angie Parmer's 70th birthday dinner in Marble Hill, Georgia, was a landmark occasion she wanted to share with all her loved ones. Unfortunately, one of them seemed set to be missing.

For 23 years, Angie's son, Donald Jenkins, had lived in Nashville, some 390 miles from her home in Dothan, Alabama. Mother and son had only seen each other at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and when her 70th birthday rolled around, Donald said he'd be in Mexico and wouldn't make it.

Instead, Angie sat down for a cozy meal with her sisters and brother-in-law. However, Donald hadn't been entirely truthful. For months, he'd been secretly plotting with his aunts to fly home early from Mexico to surprise his mom. And when Angie and family posed for a birthday picture, he snuck in and pulled off the perfect photobomb.

Watch the video above to see Angie's tears of joy when she realizes who is standing behind her!
