The U.S. women's basketball team is one win away from an eighth consecutive gold medal. After taking down Australia in the semifinals, the U.S. women have reached their goal, and only France stands in their way.

Led by Breanna Stewart and A'ja Wilson throughout this tournament, Team USA has looked dominant throughout, boasting the most, and highest-caliber, WNBA talent of any other country. You could say that if the U.S. doesn't win gold this year, that'd be a major letdown. You'd be right in that assessment.

So, while reaching this point is a massive accomplishment in its own right, the job is not finished. It's the United States vs. France for gold in Paris. Here's the full bracket and schedule leading prior to the finals.

They were awesome. It was a thing of beauty. They played relaxed and together. The coach moved players in like she was an International Master or a Grandmaster. Brilliant all around. Go USA BRING HOME THE GOLD. ✌🏿❤️✊🏿
