Perks and Rec: Let’s go shoe shopping

What did I do this weekend? I pulled weeds in my yard, hung out with friends, but most importantly: I went shoe shopping. Nordstrom Rack , one of our favorite places to shop, has a bunch of deeply discounted shoes right now. I spent my time looking for clogs (a moment for these Sorel beauties , please!), but found plenty of other deals worth shopping, too.

• For soaking up every second of summer: I’m liking these slide sandals with a metallic pop, and these jelly fisherman sandals are a fun pick for any outfit.

• For easing into autumn: Tall, black boots will be everywhere this fall, but we’ll also see lots of loafers . Grab a pair of each before they sell out.

• For styles that work year-round: A chunky sneaker works no matter the season, but I also like these all-white adidas Stan Smiths . Don’t forget about this year’s hottest shoe, the Mary Jane— this one comes in nine colors and is only $35.
