Perks and Rec: Everything is 40% off at the Gap

Earlier this week, my sister-in-law texted me that she had to bring a sweater on her nightly walk in her Hudson Valley neighborhood. To me, an Alabama resident, this was unheard of. Sweaters? In August ? Preposterous. But it reminded me that, although we’re in the throes of summer now, fall is quickly approaching—and I couldn’t be more excited.

I, obviously, am scouring the sweater section for lightweight layers and oh-so-soft cardigans , but I’m also eyeing a skirt for myself and some jeans for my husband.
