U.S. Rep Jasmine Crockett has built a reputation as a vocal defender of Vice President Kamala Harris' record and often doing it with a bit of snark.

Crockett lived up to her reputation Monday night in her remarks at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago , opening her speech with a comparison of the two candidates' resumes.

Crockett noted Trump's family history in New York real estate, with claims of discrimination, along with the Stormy Daniels scandal and contrasted that with Harris' track record as a prosecutor and a politician.

"She became a career prosecutor while he became a career criminal," Crockett said.

Crockett later became emotional recounting her first meeting with Harris, saying the conversation gave her legislative legs "and I've been running ever since."

The Democratic National Committee convention is in Chicago through Thursday and Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday is scheduled to formally accept the party's nomination for the 2024 Election.
