Obama is one of several notable speakers expected to address the convention on Tuesday, the same night as her husband, former President Barack Obama . The convention comes nearly eight years after his second term in the White House ended.

The Obamas endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in July, days after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.

Harris, the Democratic nominee , will close out the convention with her acceptance speech Thursday night.

When is Michelle Obama's speech at the DNC?

An exact time has not been announced, but the former first lady is expected to give her speech between 6 p.m.-10 p.m. CT, during the convention's main programming time slot.

How to watch and stream the 2024 DNC

The convention will air live on its website , from the United Center in Chicago between 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET (6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Central) the other days.
