For every big moment Chloe Bingham could remember, her grandpa was there. Every soccer game, dance recital, bowling match and awards ceremony. He even taught her how to drive.

So when the time came to decide who would walk her down the aisle, the decision was easy. It would be him.

Watch this beloved grandpa get an emotional first look at his granddaughter in her wedding gown.

But the 87-year-old's health began declining in 2019 when he suffered a stroke. He also battled diabetes, asthma, kidney disease, and congestive heart failure. Unfortunately, he broke his back and was bed-bound for several weeks.

He reluctantly admitted to his granddaughter, “Chloe, I am so tired of fighting. I don’t think I’m going to make it to your wedding.”

Chloe knew it was the best decision for her grandfather. But since he couldn't be there on her special day, she brought some of the special day to him: a wedding dress reveal and photoshoot. It was an emotional moment as he turned around to see his granddaughter as a bride.
