A couple recreated their wedding just a month later, and the reason behind it is truly heartwarming.

When Anna and Joey tied the knot in Chicago, Anna’s grandparents, George and Annie, were excited to make the trip from Great Neck, New York to be a part of her big day. However, an IT outage disrupted their flight, preventing them from attending the ceremony.

Anna’s sister, Francesca Rietti, made every effort to get George and Annie out to Chicago, fully aware of how much the wedding meant to them. "It was a devastating blow,” said Francesca. “Especially for grandpa George, who had long dreamed of seeing Anna get married.”

Just when George, 100, and Annie, 87, thought that they had missed Anna’s big day forever, she and Joey planned a surprise that would change everything.
