Watch Hunter Woodhall win gold for Team USA in Paris Paralympics

America’s favorite track and field power couple will now leave Paris with at least two gold medals as U.S. sprinter Hunter Woodhall stormed to victory Friday in the 400M T62 at the Paris Paralympics.

Woodhall, 25, went viral at the 2024 Paris Olympics for celebrating with his wife, Tara Davis-Woodhall , after she won gold in the long jump for Team USA.

After crossing the finish line in 46.36 seconds — ahead of silver medalist Johannes Floors of Germany and bronze medalist Olivier Hendriks of the Netherlands — Woodhall jubilantly ripped his bib off to reveal a message reading “Wyatt Woodhall: This one is for you."

Wyatt Woodhall was Hunter Woodhall’s uncle, who died from cancer in 2021, according to Hunter Woodhall’s Facebook post and an online obituary .

Woodhall previously placed sixth in the men’s 100-meter T64 final on Sept. 2. He will race the 4x100m universal relay Friday evening in Paris.
