    Three people shot in downtown Dallas; police say suspect is unknown

    At least three people have been shot in downtown Dallas Thursday and the suspect is at large, police said.

    All victims are being treated at local hospitals with their condition currently unknown, a Dallas Police Department spokesperson confirmed at news conference Thursday afternoon. There is no information on who the suspect is and an open investigation is underway.

    Police responded to the report of a shooting at 12:15 p.m. No further information was provided.

    One resident said she heard gunshots on the 8th floor of a high-rise apartment , KXAS-TV reported just after noon.

    Photos shared on social showed heavy police and ambulance presence at the scene.
