The Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to clash at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for a thrilling NFL Week 2 matchup.

In Week 1, the Bengals suffered a tough 16-10 loss to the New England Patriots, marking the biggest upset of the season's opening week. This loss, however, has only fueled their determination to prove themselves in Week 2. Quarterback Joe Burrow , who completed 21 of 29 attempts for 164 yards in the game, is listed on the injury report due to a wrist issue. Despite undergoing surgery for a torn wrist ligament last November, he insists that it is not impacting his performance.

The Chiefs are coming off a Week 1 27-20 win against the Baltimore Ravens. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 20 of 28 attempts for 291 yards and one touchdown. The game was not just a victory for the Chiefs, but also attracted a star-studded crowd that included Taylor Swift and AC Milan midfielder Christian Pulisic, among others.

Here are the latest odds and predictions for the Week 2 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals.

NFL Week 2: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Kansas City Chiefs predictions and picks

    Sports Illustrated : Chiefs

Peter Dewey writes: "Andy Reid and the Chiefs are 22-20 against the spread with a rest advantage since he took over as the head coach, and Kansas City is 23-22-3 against the spread as a home favorite since 2019. These aren’t great numbers, but can we fade Mahomes after watching the Bengals struggle to score just 10 points in Week 1? I won’t do it. Give me the Chiefs on Sunday."

Doc Sports : Take the Chiefs

Guy Bruhn writes: "In terms of how much they score, the Chiefs are sitting 12th in the league with an average of 27.0 points per contest. Over the course of the season to this point, the Chiefs have earned 281 yards via the pass, which has them ranked 3rd in the NFL. They maintain an average of 72.0 rushing yards per game. The Kansas City Chiefs average 353.0 yards per game which is good for 11th in the league. The Kansas City offense has racked up 45 yards of penalties on 6 violations, ranking them 19th in football in terms of hurting your team."

    Pickdawgz : Kansas City Chiefs

Randy Chambers writes: "I'm going to assume the Bengals are better than what they showed in their opener against the Patriots. With that said, the Bengals still lost to the Patriots. The Bengals are also still dealing with the Chase drama, and Higgins remains questionable. The Kansas City Chiefs have far fewer questions, and they've had extra time to prepare for this game. The Chiefs have also covered each of their last 7 games, going back to last year's playoffs. The Bengals have some showing and proving to do. I'll believe it when I see it. I'll lay the 6 points with the Chiefs at home."
