    Aaron Rodgers' record in prime time games: How Jets QB has fared in night football games

    For the second time in three weeks, Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets are playing in prime time. New York hosts AFC East rival New England in Thursday Night Football Week 3. This is Rodgers' latest prime-time game in a Jets uniform following New York's Week 1 loss to San Francisco on Monday Night Football .

    Aaron Rodgers' prime time record

    Rodgers has appeared in 73 career regular season games on "Sunday," "Monday," or "Thursday Night Football." In three of those games, he threw fewer than five passes, so they can be omitted from his record. Of those 70 games, Rodgers is 44-26, per data from Sports Reference .

    His biggest prime-time win was a 55-14 victory over the Chicago Bears on "Sunday Night Football" in Week 10 of the 2014 NFL season. He's played the Bears the most in prime time and has an 11-3 record against them. His career-high passer rating was 147.5 in a 30-16 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football in Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season.

    He is the third-best quarterback in NFL history in prime time by passer rating at 105.3 (minimum 100 pass attempts), trailing only Deshaun Watson (110.4) and Drew Brees (105.5).

    Of Rodgers' 70 career regular season prime time games, half have been on Sunday Night Football. He's played another 19 on Monday night and 15 on Thursday night.
