WATCH: Tears flow as two dads walk bride down the aisle together

A bride and her dad stopped the show before her wedding had even begun.

Marriage is a family affair, and Kendra Easterling wanted to share her special day with all of her loved ones. So, she and her father, Steve, planned a surprise that would shock the congregation into tears.

Kendra and her stepfather, Chris, had been close since the day they met 14 years ago. Their beautiful bond got her thinking that she wanted him to walk her down the aisle along with her birth father, Steve. But how would Steve feel about it? Well, on the very day she was about to ask him, Steve beat her to it by suggesting precisely the same thing.

So, at the top of the aisle, Kendra and Steve stopped and asked Chris to join them. A poignant moment that drew gasps from the guests.

"Family is the most important thing to her," said Kendra's mother, Marcie. "I like to think a lot of that has to do with how Steve, Chris and I raised her. She is so thoughtful, and she was so happy to be able to make this day special for everyone."

One wedding, two dads, and a warm glow of emotion. Now, that's a special day.
