Nebraska looks to bounce back in Week 5, as it heads on the road for the first time this college football season.
The Cornhuskers (3-1, 0-1 in Big Ten play) travel to West Lafayette, Indiana on Saturday for a noon kickoff against Purdue (1-2, 0-0) at Ross-Ade Stadium. Matt Rhule's squad took last year's then-Big Ten West Division matchup 31-14 in Lincoln.
Led by freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola, Nebraska is coming off a 31-24 overtime loss last week against Illinois. The loss dropped Nebraska out of both the US LBM Coaches and AP Top 25 polls.
Purdue has dropped each of its last two games, with the most recent one coming on the road at Oregon State last week in Week 5. In that 38-21 loss to the Beavers, Boilermakers running back Devin Mockobee ran for 168 yards and a touchdown. Mockobee ranks ninth in the Big Ten in rushing yards this season at 276.

The Boilermakers bounce back in terms of competitiveness, but there's three games of data (or four in Nebraska's case) saying these teams are not playing at the same level right now.
Until Purdue's defense shows it can set the edge and not get gashed for chunk plays running outside the tackles, it's hard to believe the Boilers will beat anyone. If it's more of the same Saturday, Nebraska's run game, which isn't a strength, could get a boost.
