Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice had to be carted to the locker room after suffering an apparent knee injury against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.

On a play in which quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw an interception to Kristian Fulton in the first quarter, Rice and Mahomes attempted to tackle the cornerback near the sideline. Mahomes lowered his shoulder trying to make the play but collided with the front of Rice's right knee instead of hitting Fulton.

Rice needed assistance from medical personnel to get off of the field and later took a cart back to the Chiefs ' locker room. He was ruled out of the game, and he is feared to have suffered a serious injury.
