Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 6 game

Two of this year's favorites in the NFC go head-to-head this weekend as the Dallas Cowboys host the Detroit Lions . Each team boasts a solid three wins through five weeks, but the Lions are coming off a bye. They'll be well-rested to take on these Cowboys , who just needed to give the Pittsburgh Steelers everything they had in order to come away with a win.
While Lions' quarterback Jared Goff has notoriously been much better at home than on the road, he's still won 11 of his last 15 road contests. The Cowboys will certainly have their work cut out for them, and they could be in danger of falling to .500 yet again.
Here are our experts' predictions for this Week 6 showdown.
Dallas’ lack of explosiveness in the rushing game and Detroit’s propensity to stifle the run could make this game one-dimensional for the Cowboys offense. Plus, the Lions are coming off the bye; I really like them in this spot.
Tyler Dragon: Lions 28, Cowboys 24
The Cowboys are in a tough portion of their schedule even with a Week 7 bye. Dallas was able to defeat a Steelers club that struggles offensively last week. The Lions have the third best total offense in the NFL. The Lions have the personnel to overwhelm the Cowboys in the trenches. Expect this battle to be a high-scoring affair, but Detroit will come out on top.
Jordan Mendoza: Lions 26, Cowboys 23
A matchup that has the potential to be a shootout, the Detroit defense is able to keep Dak Prescott in check and move the Lions to 4-1.
