Meat recall affects hundreds of products at Walmart, Target, Publix and more
Sandwiches, wraps and salads are the primary prepared foods affected by a nearly 10 million-pound meat recall. The impacted products can be found in some of the most popular grocery stores across the U.S., including Walmart, Public, Target, Aldi, Amazon, Trader Joe's and more.
What happened: Pre-cooked meat producer BrucePac issued the massive recall of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products due to possible listeria contamination last week.
Check your fridge and freezer : Frozen meals containing chicken products ranging from pastas and burritos to bowls and family meals are affected. Items produced from June 19, 2024 to October 8, 2024, with establishment numbers "51205 or P-51205" on the packaging, are subject to the recall. What to do if you have a recalled product : The USDA advises consumers who have purchased these products not to eat them and instead throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.

Five more bird flu cases suspected among California dairy workers
Five more people who presumably contracted the bird flu are being tested amid outbreaks in California's dairy industry, health officials confirmed Monday, meaning there are a total of six confirmed cases in the state. California officials said the risk to the general public remains low. There are no known links between the six confirmed cases, which suggests there is widespread transmission among dairy herds and that the infected cattle pose risks to people working near them. Six new accusers of Sean "Diddy" Combs, 54, have filed lawsuits against the music mogul, alleging rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault. The cases include alleged incidents from 1995 through 2021, including the alleged sexual assault of a minor and multiple allegations of rape. Several of the assaults are alleged to have occurred at the infamous parties that Combs became known for throughout his three decades in the music industry. Read more
