USC baseball is one game from a miracle, or at least, from walking on a high wire for 100 yards and not falling off. It’s possible to do, but it’s the ultimate in living on the extreme edge of existence. The Trojans have had zero margin for error at the Pac-12 Tournament. One loss and they were done. One loss and they were not going to be able to play for a chance to make the NCAA Tournament. However, here they are, one win away. Their 7-4 win over the Cal Golden Bears on Friday in Scottsdale puts them in Saturday night’s Pac-12 Baseball Tournament final. If USC wins that game (opponent TBA), it will head to an NCAA regional next weekend and give the program a huge boost. Coach Andy Stankiewicz has his team one game from rescuing its season. Let’s look at the highlights of a come-from-behind win over Cal:
