98 days until Alabama football kicks off the 2024 season

In 98 days, Kalen DeBoer will usher in a new era of Alabama Crimson Tide football, replacing the legendary Nick Saban as head coach in Tuscaloosa.

Coach DeBoer and the Crimson Tide will take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Aug. 31 to kick off the 2024 college football season inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Today, with 98 days remaining, we take a look at a former Crimson Tide player who wore No. 98 Jamil Burroughs.

Burroughs came to Tuscaloosa as a four-star recruit in the 2020 recruiting class and never met his lofty expectations. Burroughs would transfer to the Miami Hurricanes before the start of the 2023 season but is not expected to be with the program this fall.
