The Los Angeles Dodgers (70-49) and Milwaukee Brewers (67-51) play the 2nd contest of a 4-game series Tuesday. First pitch from American Family Field is set for 8:10 p.m. ET (TBS). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Dodgers vs. Brewers odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

    Season series: Dodgers lead 3-1

The Dodgers picked up a 5-2 victory in the series opener Monday, winning for the 4th consecutive outing. The Dodgers have scored 4 or more runs in 5 straight games, and 11 of the previous 14 outings. The Over is 8-4 across the past 12 contests.

The Brewers have dropped 2 in a row after a 5-game win streak from Aug. 6-10, which includes a 3-game road sweep at the Atlanta Braves. The Under has cashed in 3 in a row, with the offense averaging just 2.0 runs per game (RPG), while allowing just 3.0 RPG.

These teams met in Los Angeles July 5-7, with the favorite going 1-2 with the Over also cashing in 2 of 3 outings.

Dodgers at Brewers picks and predictions

    Prediction

    Brewers 4, Dodgers 3

The BREWERS (+108) are a nice value as short ‘dogs at home behind the 10-game winner Rea.

This should be a well-pitched game as Stone has been fairly consistent for the Dodgers (-126), too. While Los Angeles has won 3 of 4 meetings against Milwaukee this season, Rea has been sharp at home, and he is the reason for the play.

The BREWERS +1.5 (-162) are a decent play if you’re a little more on the conservative side, and you want a little insurance because you just can’t fathom playing them straight up.

Milwaukee is just 2-4 in the past 6 games at home, so it makes sense to be a little nervous picking it straight up. The Brewers are 4-1 in the past 5 games as underdogs on the run line, winning 4 times outright, too.

UNDER 8.5 (+100) is a solid play in Game 2 of this series.

The Under cashed in the series opener, as the teams combined for just 7 runs on a line of 8.5. The Under has connected in 3 straight outings for the Brew Crew.

The Under has cashed in 2 of the past 3 outings for the Dodgers, with the offense averaging 5.0 runs per game (RPG), while allowing just 2.7 RPG in the 3-game span.
