The Georgia Bulldogs are the top ranked team in the country in both the AP Poll and the US LBM Coaches Poll. Georgia returns starting quarterback Carson Beck along with a stacked roster that features 15 preseason All-SEC players and four preseason All-Americans.

Georgia received 46 of 62 first place votes in the AP Poll. Ohio State and Oregon are the only two other programs to receive No. 1 votes. Georgia is scheduled to play at No. 4 Texas, No. 5 Alabama and No. 6 Ole Miss.

The Bulldogs open the season against No. 14 Clemson and host No. 15 Tennessee. Georgia also plays Kentucky and Auburn, who both received votes in the AP Poll. Georgia’s difficult schedule will make it tough for Georgia to end the season No. 1, but the Bulldogs have a good chance to make the expanded College Football Playoff.

Here’s the full AP Poll. College football returns on Aug. 24 for Week 0. Georgia’s season opener against Clemson will be played on Aug. 31.
