The Miami Dolphins shook up their roster Monday with a series of moves mostly forced by a wave of injuries.

Wide receiver Willie Snead IV and offensive lineman Sean Harlow landed on injured reserve, running back Salvon Ahmed was released, and linebacker Ezekiel Vandenburgh was waived/injured, meaning he’ll revert to the IR if he isn’t claimed.

Filling those four spots on the roster are running backs Zander Horvath and Anthony McFarland Jr., linebacker Dequan Jackson, and wide receiver Jadon Janke.

It’d be a significant surprise if any of the four players added Monday are able to earn a spot on the 53-man roster, although an impressive week of practice could make them practice squad candidates.

Horvath played in 15 games in 2022 while a member of the Los Angeles Chargers and recorded two touchdowns in only nine touches. McFarland spent the last four years with the Pittsburgh Steelers and recorded 146 rushing yards on 42 carries.

Neither Jackson nor Janke have appeared in a regular season game. Jackson spent the 2023 season on the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice squad and Janke is an undrafted rookie who previously spent time with the Houston Texans.
