The Bo Nix buzz is growing in Denver

While it’s not been made official yet, pretty much anyone with two working eyes can appreciate that Bo Nix will be named the starting quarterback of the Denver Broncos for Week 1. The first-round rookie has been outstanding in his preseason auditions, and the buzz is growing around Nix.

Completing 8-of-9 passes for 80 yards and a touchdown in Denver’s 27-2 romp over the Green Bay Packers in the second preseason game threw some happy gasoline on the Nix fire. That Nix also ran for 10 yards and appeared in full command of head coach Sean Payton’s offense keeps adding more fuel to the growing hype.

Nix was the No. 12 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and the sixth QB selected, but he’s trending strongly toward being a rookie hit in Denver. Here’s some of the social media hype and vibe on Nix:
