One national recruiting analyst isn’t panicking over Notre Dame recruiting

While it may seem like the sky is falling for Notre Dame football recruiting, see Deuce Knight, that might not be the case.

While speaking on 247Sports YouTube channel, Bud Elliott says that there shouldn’t be panic when talking about the Irish. While he does believe that Knight will ultimately flip to Auburn, he went on to say that “Notre Dame has recruited so well at the quarterback position, that I don’t think a full-on panic is justified.”

It’s hard to disagree with his analysis of the situation, and Elliott even predicted who will start there for the Irish next season, CJ Carr.

The depth at the position might be as good as it has been in a very long time. Along with Carr there’s Steve Angeli, and Kenny Minchey. All three could get to job done, and that may be the reason why Knight is having second thoughts on playing in South Bend.

It’s a good, and bad, problem to have.
