NASCAR is set to arrive at the Daytona International Speedway for the 25th weekend of the 2024 Cup Series season . It represents the second date at the venue, as NASCAR went to Daytona in late February, resulting in a victory for William Byron. This will be a crucial event as only two races are left in the 2024 NASCAR regular season.

First, the Cup Series needs to qualify for the event at Daytona, and the qualifying format is simple. Every driver makes a single-lap run in the first round, which will determine the 10 competitors moving on to the final round. Then, those drivers will fight it out to set the lineup for the top 10 starters. The metric system determines the qualifying order.
