NASCAR’s weather forecast for Daytona in August 2024

After a crazy weekend of racing at Michigan International Speedway, NASCAR will start the weekend at Daytona International Speedway soon. In 2023, the weather was better than in 2022, as the Cup Series was able to complete the entire race on Saturday night. With NASCAR ready for Daytona, the forecast, fortunately, looks similar to last year.

According to Weather.com , the weather forecast at Daytona International Speedway calls for a high of 86° and a 25% chance of rain on Saturday. This is slightly different from Friday, which calls for a high of 87° and a 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms. This is a positive sign for NASCAR after a rough weekend or weather in Michigan.

NASCAR is hoping that Florida’s unpredictable weather doesn’t strike again this weekend. The worst day in the weather forecast is Friday, but it is projected to move out before the Xfinity Series race at night. Hopefully, the weather forecast doesn’t change much for Saturday as the Cup Series has one of its biggest races of the 2024 NASCAR season.
