The Green Bay Packers ended the preseason by forcing four turnovers and rushing for almost 200 yards in a dominant 30-7 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday at Lambeau Field.

Matt LaFleur’s team sat 38 players, including all projected starters. The Ravens also sat their starters, providing a true evaluation on the fringes of the roster for both teams.

Michael Pratt threw a touchdown pass to Bo Melton, Sean Clifford threw a score to Malik Heath and Anthony Johnson Jr. returned a fumble for a touchdown.

Here is an instant analysis of the Packers’ preseason-ending win over the Ravens:

    It was over when…

… Sean Clifford found Malik Heath for a touchdown on 4th-and-4 early in the second half. The score gave the Packers a commanding 20-point lead.

    Game balls

Offense — RB Emanuel Wilson: His 13 touches produced 78 total yards, including a 12-yard run and 20-yard catch. Wilson ran hard while catching a pair of passes. He’s likely to make the 53-man roster.

Defense — DE Arron Mosby: The second-year defensive end delivered a strip sack — resulting in a fumble return for a touchdown — and then an interception on back-to-back possessions. Honorable mention to Kristian Welch, who intercepted a pass and had a team-high six tackles.

Special teams — K Greg Joseph: He made both field goals, including a 55-yarder right down the middle, and an extra point. Anders Carlson missed a 32-yard field goal late, potentially helping Joseph’s cause.

    Key stat

4: The number of takeaways by the Packers. Anthony Johnson Jr. and Christian Young recovered fumbles, and Arron Mosby and Kristian Welch intercepted passes. The turnovers resulted in 14 points.

    Deciding factor

The Packers got a pair of touchdowns on third or fourth down. Bo Melton’s score came on third down from the 18-yard line, while Malik Heath’s touchdown arrived on fourth down from the 7-yard line. Both were clutch plays. Meanwhile, the Ravens were 2-for-10 on third down and 1-for-2 on fourth down.

    Jordan Love watch

Another preseason game spent on the sidelines for Jordan Love, who was impressive during Thursday’s joint practice. He said he’s ready for Week 1. In his place, Sean Clifford and Michael Pratt combined for 14 completions for 133 yards, two touchdown passes and an interception. Neither finished with a passer rating over 80.0. Clifford struggled early, and Pratt had a difficult second half.

    Play of the game

The scoop and score is an iconic play at Lambeau Field. Anthony Johnson Jr., wearing LeRoy Butler’s No. 36 uniform, scooped up a field caused by Arron Mosby and rumbled 24 yards for a touchdown and a Lambeau Leap.

    Injury updates

Rookie linebacker Ralen Goforth left with an ankle injury. Defensive lineman Jonathan Ford was carted back to the locker room with a calf injury.

The preseason is over, so up next is Tuesday’s roster cutdown day. The Packers will form the 53-man roster and practice squad next week before getting ready to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil on Friday, Sept. 6.

Carlson is clearly not his brother. Anyone else would have been cut by now. Acknowledge the mistake made and move on.
