Cardinals set to face NFL's most overrated and biggest trash-talking QB in Week 1

Who doesn’t love anonymous NFL player opinions? They are always fun, especially when it comes to what they think of other players. ESPN had 100 NFL players do some quarterback rankings and it included ranking the best quarterbacks, the most overrated, the most underrated, the rookie who will have the best career and more.

Guess what? The Arizona Cardinals will face both the league’s biggest trash-talking quarterback and the most overrated quarterback in the NFL in their season opener when they face the Buffalo Bills on the road in Week 1.

NFL players voted Josh Allen both the most overrated quarterback in the league and the biggest trash talker.

A player in the NFC West (could it have been a Cardinals player?) said Allen turns the ball over too much.

Allen got 11 votes, edging out Philadelphia’s Jalen Hurts and Miami’s Tua Tagovailoa, both of whom got 10 votes.

Allen only accounted for 44 touchdowns in 2023, passing for 29 and rushing for 15.

That’s crazy. Many argued he should have been the league MVP last season.

And maybe all those touchdowns are why he talks trash.

He led with 26 votes for biggest trash talker, which blew away second-place vote-getter Baker Mayfield, who got 17.

A player noted that Allen will run a player over and then talk trash to the guy he runs over.

The Cardinals will be the first team to potentially make him look overrated.
